Help!! Animal cruelty?

Ok so my ex boyfriend's cousin had this dog. It was this little puppy so cute. Anyway her 4 boys did not feed it or give it water and it ended up dying. They never took it to the vet to get it checked out and they would always keep it in the laundry room with the door shut so he never got any exercise. Before all this happened she tried to give me the dog because no one was taking care of it. I told her I could not take the puppy because I already have 3 dogs and a baby on the way. So now I just feel so bad. Anyway I was wondering who I should call because this is a clear case of animal cruelty. She should have stepped in to make sure the dog was being fed and had water she is an adult and kids never take care of anything. So what should I do. I don't want her to know I reported her because she knows I am an animal lover. I mean they buried the dog in the back yard. This just makes me sick. Oh I forgot to mention I have 3 dogs and two cats and a baby on the way, so that is why I told her I could not take the dog. I just feel awful.

1. report it to the local animal control.. thats about all you can do.. if they get another dog, keep an eye on it. but report it for sure.
2. Even though shes your friend you need to think about that poor innocent dog that died because of her. Its not your fault she couldve taken it to a shelter. It will probably make you feel better if you do tell. Im sorry about that i know exactly how you feel :)
3. There's nothing that can be done now. If they get another dog be sure to report it as soon as you see a problem.
4. I feel so sorry for the puppy. It makes me cry. Report them. These people should never be allowed to own a dog again. I hope she goes to jail.
5. Hi Anita, That is TERRIBLE!!! what these boys did and Yes Mom is to blame for that poor puppy dieing the way it did..The pup stuffer and there wasn't any reason why this happen.. Please do report this to the A.S.P.C.A OR THE POLICE!!!..If it hasn't been to long since this poor helpless puppy die and was bury,they will ditch the pup up and find out why he die..I Hate people who do things like this,especially to animals..Get their sorry A*SES!!! 6. Try not to feel bad, your animals are well taken care of right? Yo decided to have them and you care for them. You didn't take this pup in and let it die. That's not on you. Call animal control and report it. You're right, as the adult she should have stepped in and done something.
7. That woman deserves to go to jail. Call the SPCA or humane society in your area - if that fails, call the cops. They will keep it anonymous, but what's more important - that justice is served or that this stupid twit doesn't get mad at you? People who neglect an animal will also neglect their own children...
