If I don't put my pictures away, my cats destroy them. Why do my cats like to lick pictures/photos?

Is it poisonous for them?

1. thats weird because my cat really likes to lick paper, especially with ink on it. i think its the ink that they like, im not sure why though, but i wouldnt suggest letting your cat do it.

3. It's probably not too good for them. Cats like to lick certain plastic things because of the oils and chemicals that are used in the production of these items. Apparently, they taste good to cats. For example, both of my parents' cats lick plastic bags. It's not toxic, but you shouldn't let them lick it too much. I mean, if you catch your cat licking a picture, just roll your eyes and take it from him. You don't have to call the vet.
4. you should buy you cat some toys to play with.
