What is a funny animal for a pre-school age children's book?

I'm trying to think of a funny animal character that children will respond well too. This animal doesn't get out much but when he does he has a great adventure.

1. well at these times kids love bunnies and duckies! they find them a real hoot for some reason and they also seem to have taken a liking to certain types of cuddly baby bears. so it would be wacky ducky, funny bunny, or cherry beary or something like that. you could put a dog or a kitten in the mix but personally i think that the kids will find them as cute but not that amusing. hope this helps!
2. I would go a little off the wall, maybe a baby Kangaroo or Penguin or something.

4. MONKEY!!! The children I've worked with at the preschool age can not get enough about monkeys!
5. COW Cows are awesome and children LOVE them.
6. donkeys! i told my students about donkeys yesterday and i made the "ee-o" sound and they laughed! lol
