What colour do you think my boxer puppies will be?
My 2 year old boxer is having her first litter of puppies and i was wondering what colours i would end up with. Shes white but she has a largeish brindle patch on her back leg. The male is red and white. What do you think and if you think there will be any white ones how many do you think??

- Hate me, accuse me of not answering your question or thumbs down me, but if you don't know the answer to this question, your dog should not be expecting puppies. This is a question reputable breeders can answer in their sleep before they even begin deciding who should mate their dog. If you don't know the basics of these genetics, you can't possibly understand the health implications.
- If you knew what you were doing you wouldn't have the ask. REAL breeders know the color genetics of their dogs, long before they are bred. So just sit back and wait and see what your badly bred pups will look like.
- You should not be breeding at all. Your female is not even standard(too much white). Have an emergency spay done on her, and have your male neutered and quit adding to the overpopulation of dogs.
- The better question is how many of the pups will have genetic heart defects from unscreened parents.
- well apart from all the bad comments you have had, your puppies will come out white and red depending on who has the stronger gene bud i believe you wil have more white with red then just white or red and as for the number of puppies depends how old she is and how many times she has been bread
- Good God, white boxers should NOT be bred EVER due to their increased risk for deafness. Unfortunately you will probably get a lot of white puppies out of this litter, if not all white. Please screen each one carefully for deafness before you place them in a new home, and DO NOT breed your dog again! http://www.boxerworld.com/forums/view_boxer-coat-colour.htm
- okay so ignore those haters, just make shure u fix her after u have gotton rid of her pup's. so u see if u dont know the parents and the color of the relitives u cant really tell. they should be mixed with verry pretter colors. [i think all dogs are pretty/cute] Hope i helped =]
- Reputable breeders would have bred a white boxer in the first place. Your nothing more then a back yard breeder looking to line your pockets by exploiting your dogs. Your pathetic. Do the boxer breed a favor and get your female spayed and abort the litter. Thank you for adding more boxers to the rescue population.
