What do you think of Solid Gold Wolf Cub dog food?
We are getting a 14 week old lab/shepard cross puppy and I would like to feed her something other than the cheap food they have been feeding her. I have done a lot of research online and found Solid Gold Wolf Cub Large Breed puppy food. It seems to be pretty good (no Wheat, corn, by-products). I would like to know if anyone else with a large breed dog has tried it before.

- It is a very good food, not the best of the best, but high quality and made by a brand that has been around a long time and has an excellent reputation. I do not feed it, but a friend of mine feeds it to her Golden Retriever puppy, who has a glossy coat, has been growing well, and she has had no problems with the food.
- I know my brother's dog's (bernese/husky mix) digestive system couldn't take it. He had a hard time believing it was the food, but sure enough when he went to a different brand, the digestive issues got better. Just make sure you switch the diet over *gradually* (take about 1 week) from what they have been feeding her, rapid dietary change is a frequent cause of diarrhea.
- Yes, it's EXCELLENT! I'm glad you have decided to feed healthy food. Good luck!
- I use Solid Gold Hundeflocken for my gang and they do well on it.
