What animals live in the mountains during the winter season?

I'm making a game project with my group of friends for biology and are game board is set on the environment of the mountains during the winter and I'm just wondering what organisms live up there during winter? I need about 8 animals. Could anyone help me identify some animals?

2. Which mountains and on what continent? In the North American Rockies there are blue grouse, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, coyotes, wild turkeys, grey fox, mule deer, and elk. The answers would be different in Africa's Atlas mountains, South Africa's Drakensburg (sp?), the Adirondacks of the Eastern U. S., the European Alps, Carpathians, or Urals, the Himalayas, the Andes, or and of the Australian ranges. Look in a good field guide (from the library) and you will find maps showing seasonal ranges for each animal and a wealth of other information. Flex your brain! It sounds like a terrific project.
