How can you use a race track for practice with your own horses?

I just started owning horses race worthy and I was wondering if, because as of yet I don't have my own practice track made up, if there is a way to when no one is at the track you can rent it for a few hours for workouts. If there is, I'd like to know about how I can go about having the privilege? Please only answers regarding my questions. No side comments about this or that thank you.

  1. Sorry no they wont let you do that. Many people who have racehorses on farms do use racetracks for workouts but that must be arranged by your lic. horse trainer. Then you can bring your horse in during morning training hrs.do what you need to do.In most cases you have to have the horse back off the grounds by noon. Most farms that have horses in training only have a small track so taking your horse to the racetrack for workouts.gate training(All horses must be schooled in the gate before they can race.Once approved by the gate crew you would receive a gate card and you are then eligible to race.) and its also a good idea to let your horse get used to all the new sights and sounds of the track.I hope this was helpful Good luck
