Do you think that putting animal clothes on animals is silly?
I think it is cute when you see little pooches walking around with little sweaters on, but a lot of people think it is silly to put clothes on animals. What do you say?

- Dressing up animals isn't my style. However as long as the pet doesn't mind, I don't see the harm.
- im gonna have to say both, first of all i think its cute... but then again i dont think the animals like it 2 much.....
- i think its cute too i have a pekingnese and a pomachin and they dont mind and most other people think its cute so go for it!
- I think it is, you don't see animals in the wild wearing clothes. Then again, as long as the animal doesn't mind it I guess it's okay.
- yes and no it is what you think
- only jackets are good for dogs.
- I think when you see animals dressing themselves in the wild is when it would be Ok to start dressing them up as pets. Until then you should leave them to their own fur.
- I say its fine, but only if your pet doesn't mind. When it snowed I would put a little puppy coat on my chihuahua's when they were puppies so that they would go outside to go to the bathroom.
- I used to put my cat in doll clothes when I was a kid....but then he got too fat. ^.^ I wouldn't do it now, especially if the animal doesn't like it. I mean, I know how I feel about having to get dressed up, and I don't like it. So I figure I won't put an animal through something I wouldn't go through. But, if your dog doesn't care, I don't see the harm in it as long as they don't get too hot. =)
- I thought it was silly until I got my dog a hoody and he absolutley loves it, he gets really excited when he sees it and struts about all pleased when he had it on! I would draw the line at shoes
- its SO adorable when little doggies have like, sweaters and stuff on.
- Primates at zoo's use sacks and rugs to give themselves shelter from the weather. Primates in the wild find natural resources or shelter in caves etc. to shelter themselves from the weather. I don't believe in dressing animals up for fashion, however I volunteer at the local pet shelter and a lady donated 50 little puppy sweaters that she knitted for us. In some cases, it gets really cold and the puppies don't have much fur - they don't mind the sweaters because the sweaters keep them warm. If it is beneficial to the animal I don't see the problem. xoxo Stacey
- I think it is ridiculous... I have only had one dog to wear clothes because he was shaved at the vet and they told me to lol. But that is just my opinion.
