What dog breeds are allowed on american military bases in germany and holland? im moving and id like to no about my dogs.

1. It's not as much the base rules and CO that you should worry about as breed restrictions as placed by the actual country. In my experience a base will allow any breed that is already allowed within the country so you first need to find out what are the restricted breeds in Germany and the Netherlands. Some of Germany's restricted breeds: - Pitbull terrier - American Staffordshire terrier - Staffordshire bull terrier - Bull terrier In addition, some other breeds are outlawed by various districts. http://berlin.angloinfo.com/information/32/animals.asp#Restricted%20Breeds I know that the Netherlands recently repealed their ban on pit bull breeds, but there still may be other breeds on their restricted list.
2. You need to look up the housing regulations for the specific bases. Some have a banned breed list AND a weight limit (nothing over 100 pounds) while others have "No Pets" policies.
