How to break my miniature horses habit?

She thinks she can drag you and slip the lead rope away from you, we prefer this not to happen considering we have a nasty german shepherd up the road. Thanks(:

1. Natural Horsemanship: Purchase a weighted rope halter. You can get them fitted for mini's. The one I purchased is from Dennis Reis, but it was for a regular sized horse. Watch the videos on how to use it properly. Believe it or not, you will cure this habit in just a couple of work sessions. You will not have to fight with her at all. It is a matter of teaching her some respect. This also starts teaching you how to communicate with your horse and how to read her body language. You will enjoy your relationship much more.
