Considering most animals are extinct or endangered why did God create so many different types?
He could've created the few used for eating, dogs and cats for pets and horses for the manual labor they provided before cars. Why are there tigers, lions, whales, dolphins, gorillas, hawks and thousands of other animals which are currently on the endangered species list anyways? We'll just have a few in zoos and fossils of them in museums in a few decades.

- Who knows.
- Let me ask God, brb.
- The question should be why did man create so many different gods.
- its called evolution dear not god
- Because the animals weren't created. Look in to studying evolution more in order to understand biodiversity.
- They're becoming extinct because of human impact on their habitat and pochering and deforestation and so on.
- God is a artist. He likes many things and is wise enough to create many things.
- Most? 99.9% of all the animals that have ever existed are extinct. (If god likes so many different animals, why did he than go kill them all?)
- reconsider believing in a god
- because we need different foods.
- you should ask god when you die as an old grandma peacefully in her house.
- The create balance in the world.
- He created some, but evolution did occur and that's what created all the different species.
- fossils are the lies of satan, and the reason there are so many animals are they had to fill the ark with something.
- All of the more than 4000 gods that have ever been worshiped are fake. All animals evolved from lower life, including us.
- Who cares?
- Perhaps God created a few and let them evolve and adapt to their surroundings. Or perhaps he created alot becuase he likes fun also and gets entertainment from watching so many species co-exist or like the show Survivor.
- To give you something to think about and ask on R&S.
- Who can prove that God created any of them. Different types is nature's way of figuring out what ones work.
- different species rely on other species in order to survive. you take one out of the food chain and everything gets messed up.
- Why do we paint? Maybe God wants to show you how we can destroy ourselves and our planet system by not obeying. You are really asking for the problem with evil. Why does God allow for evil?
- Because God didn't create them, evolution did. Because of evolution, animals evolved to fit every niche in the environment. Then, because the environment is always changing, some animals die off, some evolve further and become new species that fit better in the new environment. It's sad and Pandas and Tigers and such are endangered, but that's just nature. Fortunately, we have the technology now to maybe save them so they don't disappear completely.
- Because God is a truly amazing, beautiful Creator. How boring would it be if we only had like 10 animal types! God created a wonderful and diverse world. What are cats supposed to eat in the wild if there are no other animals? And by the way, it's not God's fault a lot of species are dying out ^^ That's mostly OUR fault... Anyway, only God knows why he made the amount he did, but to be honest I'm quite glad he DIDN'T only make like 10 animal types xD;! What a beautiful world...
- It doesn't make any sense, does it. Let that be a teeny weeny hint for you.
- He was high so he made some random sh!t like platypuses.
- First..."most" animals are not extinct or endangered in any way. I will give you the fact that too many are, but, Google endangered species and see how many are. Evolution allows animals etc. to change with the times. There are a number of species still being found in our world. Don't worry about it...Its Gods will not ours.
- well i personally don't believe in any 'god' or deity for that matter so i don't know how much of a help my answer is... people who believe in god believe 'he' gave us free will. we created cars. we eat certain animals and use others for their blubber or their skin or fur or whatever...we test on animals for our benefit...etc. really, those who believe in 'god' believe 'he' has pretty much left it up to us to choose here on earth all these things...until 'he' comes back... :OI i personally believe in evolution & survival of the fittest... proof has proven this to be...religion does not make sense to me and seems like its a crutch for a lot of very scared people to lean on...and also use self righteousness as their excuse... (not to say i am not scared of death, the afterlife if there is one...) it just happens because certain animals are killed by selfish people who think they have a right because they are human to do so...and also because these certain animals aren't reproducing well enough anymore for various reasons... hopefully we humans will be able to save the whales, etc. while also hopefull saving the human race as well. love and positive action is the key IMHO...
- God created for the purpose of demonstrating His great power, s a dog and a cat would not do it. So what if animals are continually dying out and new species develop.Enjoy what you have while you have it. Persoanally I like the variety that God has given us. Remember "endangered species" is a human idea and God can preserve any animal He wants to. Dinosaurs served their purpose and now we burn them in our cars. If God hadn't made them we would be walking everywhere. Why didn't He just make one star and put in the heavens. That would be enough for us to know what they look like.
- That's just the way the world works, you could also ask why God made so many humans if most of them are just going to die of cancer or some other disease. You could ask this question about anything, like why are there so many houses if they might catch on fire? You don't need to know the answer to everything. Besides, aren't you glad that some animals died out,I mean what would it be like if dinousouars still existed?
