How can I get them to stop posting pictures of tortured animals on my Yahoo mailbox page?

I hate those ads.And I hate yahoo for putting them there. I don't click on them. I am already as sympathetic as I can be. Seeing ads about poisoned dogs and bear baiting just makes me sick. It does not inspire me to give or spend money. I would rather change to another E mail provider than look at those pictures day after day.

1. You have probably indicated personal interest in animals in your Yahoo preferences. They only send those ads to people who might respond--people who have already indicated interest in animals. Go to any page about your personal interests and UNCHECK that box--you should then get fed advertising for something else.
2. Intellicast used to run a lot of ads with some rattlesnake. Once or twice was sort of cute, but continuously. I got kind of disgusted and sent several emails telling them that I hope they realized that every time that snake popped up I clicked the window off and go to weather.com instead. I said I have no idea what that snake was advertising but at least I'm not looking at it any more. The note was finished with "I wonder how many others are like me?" I seriously doubt that my single action did it, but maybe there were others that said, and did, something along the same lines. If no one clicks on an ad, they either change the ad or stop placing one there. Just an idea.
3.
