Are Maltese puppies act normal around other dogs, behaviorally?

I'm planning on buying a Maltese, because I need a small breed of a lap dog.

1. Yes, as long as they are well-socialized to other dogs. Ideally, puppies should meet 100 different dogs before they are six months old.
2. Sure as long as he's well socialized toward both animals and ppl.
3. Er.....in case you hadn't known.....maltese ARE dogs too. ALL dogs need TRAINING! if you can't deal w/the reality of the months of work involved,get a goldfish.
4. I don't think you are ready for a dog yet. Just my opinion. This question makes no sense to anyone who has ever owned a dog.
5. I you interact them with other dogs and people as a puppy. They are less aggressive.
