So your purebred dog has got loose and another breed type of dog has?
got her pregnant. To your horror she gives birth to cross breed puppies. You are a breeder and cannot tolerate this do you: a) Get rid of the puppies so that the pedigree is not weakened. ( you know what I mean) b) Sell the puppies and don't tell anyone c) Realise that all life is precious and sell the puppies with pride. If you answer C then I suggest you realise that life is more precious than breed and we can all agree that cross breeding is not as wrong as destroying life itself. Let's face it unless you answer A (killing the puppies) you agree that cross breeds have there place in this world. Breeders want to get all righteous but mutts are just as cool. Or are you killers of puppies?

- You fix all puppies and the b1tch involved because you aren't smart enough to be a breeder. How stupid could you be to not monitor your female when she is in heat?
- Oh please, sell them happily, just lower the price because they're not full breeds. Don't ever hurt them or be ashamed, those pups would find an amazing home with a family who adores them, it won't ruin the pedigree at all, your male and female dog have already gotten together, you might as well adjust to that. I guess that means I go with C, because life really is precious, and those puppies will surely put an amazing smile on their loving families face when they are sold. Best of luck, never ever ever consider killing them, imagine if you killed your own dog?
- Any breeder that does "A" , I would consider a monster...I mean getting rid of them like puting them in a trashcan could get you arrested and tooken to jail for that. Mix breed dogs are very cute. I'd choose C. I would tell the buyer I have got a whole new line of adorable puppies for sale. I think B is exceptable...but C is the best way to go.
- C definitely
- How about D. Giving the puppies away. No one in their right mind is going to pay for a mutt.
- First off if you are not prepared to own all the puppies for yorus or their lifetime you should not be breeding the dog to begin with. Sh** happens and you have to deal with it. As a breeder I would wait until they are old enough to be spayed and have them spayed them find them all good homes. Third, I would never kill any living animal. I have 2 purebreds and 2 rescue dogs and I love them all the same. It is a lifelong committment no matter what type of dog you own.
- C thats the best way tell your dog shes a good girl its not her fault she didnt know C is the best answer DO NOT chose A thats bad
- You for got D) My purebred b itch isn't lose while she is in season and so of course this isn't going to happen... You are responsible for your pets, to keep them safe, so you make sure they don't get loose, and especially when they are in season.. If you can't keep them from getting loose, then spay them so this won't happen..
- Find them good homes. Charge a nominal fee for shots, deworming. Yes, mutts can make great dogs. I have 2 mixed breed rescues that I love dearly. Don't stick a cutesy name on the mutts and charge hundreds for them. that is wrong. I didn't pay anything for my mutts. One was headed for the shelter and would have been put down as it was an owner turn in. Another we rescued along with her 2 brothers after they were dumped on our country road. We found homes for the brothers and no one wanted her so she is still with us.
- I could never kill puppies. The only way termination should be done is when the mothers life is at risk. I think I told you about my foster Chihuahua I have right now. She was prime for a pregancy spay, but unfortunetly her owner left it too late and she almost died. I could never breed. I have seen the heartache and cost that comes with it through the fostering I do. The little mama I'm fostering now lost 4 of her 5 pups to bad breeding (much bigger make to a tiny Chi female) Her vet bills are well over $3000 to date. It's still 6 more weeks before the pup can go. He will need shots and wormings before then. The bills are on going. Thankfully I don;t have to pay them. I always spay/neuter long before this could ever become an issue for me though.
- my pit is pregnat with god only what kind of dog got het and i would never think of killing them i also hve a mutt and he is as awsome and loveale and well he is smart but not like gwen but people are the same way and we dont go around killing mixxed humans babies do we no so to any one who thinks we should kill either will learn on the day of judgement.
- Whatever happened to responsible pet ownership? If you keep intact animals you should be responsible enough to keep them from getting pregnant or impregnating other dogs. If one can not manage this then spaying and neutering of the animals should be done. There is no reason for accidents like you are describing. Most times things like this happen, it is from carelessness. I am sorry but this is the ONLY reason these types of accidents happen. However, accidents are not how all cross breeds aka designer dogs come about. These days many of these so called cross breeds are created with the sole intention of making money. So that creates another question. Considering all the animals that are put to death on a daily basis, is it right to be so careless and allow dogs to breed indiscriminately? Do the lives of that accidental litter that has not been born mean more than the animals that have already been born and are now crowding the shelters because there are not enough homes? No, we can not agree that cross breeding is not as as wrong as destroying life because for every designer mutt or cross breed that is created there is a chance that another mixed breed dog will be put to sleep as could the newly created designer dog/cross breed when they can not be found homes. If it this type of accident happens, I see nothing wrong with taking the b itch to the vet and having her spayed and the contents of her uterus tossed in the trash. There are enough crap dogs bred, that usually have poor temperaments and the world does not need more. So I guess I am a heartless puppy killer. I believe it is in the best interest of my dogs not to allow accidents to happen and I am responsible enough to prevent it.
