Is it true that maine coon cats are vicious?

Public Comments

  1. not at all. I have one (avatar is gf's cat) and he is the sweetest tempered cat I have ever seen. Any animal can be vicious under the right circumstances but my maine coon is gentle even when playing.
  2. not at all. i love them. they're just very independent.
  3. no its not i have been raised with them they are very gental and loving.
  4. No! They are very kind and affectionate. They have even been nicknamed 'the gentle giant'. But they are good hunters.
  5. I think they are very cute and aren't vicious at all!
  6. They're one of the more laid back breeds. Who says they're vicious?
  7. Please, what on God's green earth gave you that idea? You will not find another more beautiful, gentle, loving, loyal and "interactive" breed of cat! The only possible way that could happen is if the cat in question was a "feral" (born and raised away from humans) cat. THEN ANY BREED of cat (or dog) could be "vicious" and should be treated with extreme caution.
  8. well what in the name of Lucifer's high heaven gave you that idea Zill? ... I once had a maine coon cat and the sucker died of ornery old age, may his resurrected soul be reincarnated as an elderly Rockefeller whose stolen the high throne of YWHW. That cat was the best pu$$y I ever had, so soft and furry and it was my familiar to the Egyptian underworld, where that cat kicked the a$$ of a hundred unborn babies that were trying to sneak their way in to your womb.
