  1. it depends on the dog
  2. It depends entirely on the breeds involved. If yours is a smaller breed, there are several years left; if s/he's a giant breed, s/he would be getting pretty old. Medium and large breeds, this is about middle age/senior territory.
  3. Just as long as pure breeds if not longer. Some times mix breeds turn out to be better dogs and have far less health issues.
  4. Larger breeds have a shorter life span then the smaller breeds do, although i have seen some larger breeds live up to 14 years and they were only said to live to 8-10 years. That's how long larger breeds are said to live is between 8 to 10 years as your smaller breeds can live up to 15+ years.
  5. A bit young to be going grey! We have had in our family: Dobermanns -12 and 13 Lakeland Terrier - 14 Mutt (mainly whippet) - 15 GSDs - 10 and 13 Mutt (mainly collie) - 15 Smaller breeds routinely make it to 13-15 The giant breeds are lucky to make it to 10
  6. It totally depends on the breed.Larger dogs don't live as long and can have a life span anywhere from 8-10yrs..Smaller breeds can live till their 20yrs old
