i want to buy a camera i'm going to be taking pics of horses jumping and pictures of my dogs inside the house

the problem is that i have only about 100$ to spend, the tops can be 140$ if any questions ask

1. You are going to be a little frustrated by the shutter lag that plagues all P&S cameras. If you want to get much better photos, you may find that a good used Nikon or Canon 35mm SLR with lens on craigslist. I was able to find a Nikon N60 with a 28-85mm lens for $50. I had to wait nearly six weeks before I found it, so if you are in a hurry, you may want to stick to looking for a P&S to start shooting your horses and dogs. 2. Some digital cameras come equipped w/ special settings for animals and/or pets. This could be useful to you, but the prices of cameras with such options may be above your asking price.
