Cross Breeds

Is it possible to cross breed the same flowers over and over again?

this is what i mean: for example what if u have a purple flower and u cross bread it with a white flower. can u breed those two particular flowers more than twice even after they have offspring?

1. yes, they are still of the same species and they can be crossed any number of times.
2. why not? Remember heritability is chance so you won't get the same offsprings over and over again every time they are crossed.
