- Golden's come in a variety of colours. Some are almost white and some are quite gold. TWhat you have is perfectly normal.
- that's alright there all pure breed
- Its just a diluted yellow Congratulations, you are now a BYB
- No, they are not all a gold color. The English Golden retrievers have a cream colored coat. Please, why would you breed your dog if you don't even know for sure if they are pure bred? Please do your research.
- Yes, I have seen purebred golden retriever puppies and most i think are kinda whitish. They should get more golden as they get older. And, even if they aren't purebred who cares? They are probably going to turn out to be great dogs! I have a golden retriever mix and she is great!
- yup. goldens come in all shades of gold. some more copper colred than others. here i have a whole album of my dogs litters, and there all pureBRED goldens. http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e106/lizatoby_06/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/28958763@N03/ and myspace:http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=134513144&albumId=1329225 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=134513144&albumId=1699658
- Yes, they range from white or "cream" as breeders call it, to dark rust, In the UK most golden retreivers are bred in the very light colors. It sounds like you shouldnt be breeding your dog in the first place if you didnt know this or even if they are still purebred. geesh get momma fixed.
- This is from the AKC page: Rich, lustrous golden of various shades. Feathering may be lighter than rest of coat. With the exception of graying or whitening of face or body due to age, any white marking, other than a few white hairs on the chest, should be penalized according to its extent. Allowable light shadings are not to be confused with white markings. Predominant body color which is either extremely pale or extremely dark is undesirable. Some latitude should be given to the light puppy whose coloring shows promise of deepening with maturity. Any noticeable area of black or other off-color hair is a serious fault.
- I'm sure they are all fine! :) Golden come in a almost White called Cream to a very dark red almost a mahogany colored! It is quite possible to have a variety of colors in one litter too. Here are my 3 Golden! One is med. Golden one is light golden and one is dk.cream colored! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3271/2387500503_a52f0bf8a0_o.jpg All are 100% pure bred Golden's! I sent you an e-mail!
- Just because they are not all the same exact color doesn't mean they are not purebred. They probably are from what you were saying. An example would be that in German shepherds - black and tan, sable, black, and white German shepherds are all purebred, but they are different colors. Good luck! Have fun with the puppies:)
