What do horses think of when they race around the track?

Horses in racing. What are they thinking of, when they are going round the track?

1. Probably something like, "I wish that midget would quit whipping me!" or "I hope I don't break a leg or they'll shoot me like they did Barbaro."
2. Winning is an imaginary concept but they do know beating the other horse.
3. They are thinking I wish this stupid bastard in the funny clothes would get off my back and stop being a lazy bastard, how would he feel if i jumped on him and whipped him on the arse.
4. Where's the stable .......? Actually beats me what they are thinking when they are in the parade ring, never mind out on the course. But they are competitive, and I think they want to win as much as the jockeys and the punters!! Not all however ................... lol
