Cross Breeds

Does anyone know of a breeder who breeds boxador puppies, e.g. boxer-labrador cross?

I have read up on both breeds. And seen some photos of the boxador and think they make lovely companions and are great looking dogs, however it seems as if there is no puppies or breeders of the boxador that I can find in the UK. Please help, and please tell me your stories about how you purchased your boxador and what your dog is like.

  1. If I did I would call them a BYB and report them at any chance I had. that's just wrong to create mutts on purpose.
  2. You're going to get a ton of hateful answers to this, lol. I don't approve of intentional cross breeding either, but I'm not going to be rude about it. Your best bet is to keep checking your local shelters. Often the mix you are hoping for ends up there. Good luck!
  3. there is no such thing as a boxador.....it is a boxer mix with a huge pricetag, but hey, if you want to be scammed into paying that much....knock yourself out. You'll just doom the mother dog into having multiple litters of mutts for a backyard breeder.
  4. Look up your local lab, and boxer, rescues to see if they have any. Shelters are probably your best bet here.
  5. o0o they will rip you a part on this one .You have the right to want any breed of dog you want and no one has the right to judge you for that !! Try looking on petfinder or www.hoobly.com https://www.breederinfocenter.com/index.php on hoobly you can place a free ad and ask to find a breeder good luck !!
  6. Ridiculous. How about a labahume? I'll experiment and breed you with a lab and see what comes out.
  7. Reputable breeders do not deliberately breed mixed breeds. If you find a "breeder" it's most likely going to be a "for profit" backyard breeder. I suggest you look in your local shelters and rescues.
  8. Reputable breeders do not breed mutts, but mixed Boxers and mixed Labs are very common, try a place like a breed rescue or shelters for a mixed breed dog. Since they are mutts not all pups will look like each other as a litter of Labs do, some will look like a Lab but act like a Boxer, some look like a Boxer but act like a Lab and every variation in between. Since both breeds often have bad hips/elbows and only reputable breeders check hips etc any mix will likely have bad hips and/or elbows.
  9. its nothing more then a mutt. you dont buy a mutt from a breeder. go to a pound.
  10. Please consider adopt an adult or pupp purebred or crossbred from a shelter . it no use if you get this breed and find out it doesn't suit your lifestyle. NEVER EVER BUY FROM A PETSTORE
  11. I find it funny that the "honest answers" about reputable breeders do not cross breed dogs, and the fact that cross breeds are simply mutts all get thumbs down. Why is it that the truth gets thumbs down?
  12. I'm not sure where you'd find a responsible breeder of crossbred dogs (and I'm not going to direct you to a puppymill or backyard breeder!). I'd recommend looking in your local rescue centre. There's dogs of all ages, breeds and mixes available in rescue. You say you are in the UK. This link should help you to find a good rescue in your area: http://www.dogpages.org.uk/ Click on the map closest to where you live, then scroll down until you find rescues near you. Even if you don't find a "boxador" (it would probably be called a labrador X or a boxer X in rescue), you'll probably still find a great pet. Good luck.
  13. You mean you can't find a responsible / ethical breeder of mutts? Well imagine that? Hmmm.. wonder why that is? THEY ARE MUTTS.. IF you find someone breeding them.. RUN..
