Man o' War, a donkey named Wisty and other horses in Heaven?

A long time ago I read a short story in which the race horse Man 'o War had just arrived in heaven. He found there several other horses that had been the horses of famous generals that continuously argued over who was the greatest general. Standing alone and often being picked on by the other horses is a little donkey by the name of Wisty. In the end, the reader finds out that the donkey carried the Prince of Peace. Can anyone tell me the name of the story and the author please? Or maybe tell me a place that I can look for it?
