Have you heard of the famous horse races in Saratoga Springs, New York?

I'm just wondering how many people have heard of them, because I live there. Are they really all that famous? In magazines and stuff I see ads for Saratoga Springs, how historical it is, and how much it has to offer, but to me, it's just a boring little city.
