What is the name of America's most famous Horse Race (to be held this week end)?

6. Well it already was on Saturday, May 5. That race is called the Kentucky Derby. It was the 133 time it was ran and a horse named Street Sense won it. This race is included in the Triple Crown. The Triple Crown is the 3 most important horse races in America. Like the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes. If a horse wins all of them then that horse wins the Triple Crown (which is very good!). But America hasn't had a Triple Crown winner sense like 1978... right? Or at least in the 70's. But the horse that just won the Derby will most likely not win the Triple Crown because I don't believe that, that horse has what it takes. So, yeah you were probably talking about the Kentucky Derby. Which was amazing! -mel RIP Barbaro!
7. Kentucky derby it's the first leg of the Triple Crown followed by Preakness and the Belmont stakes it's the biggest thing in horse racing.
8. The Kentucky Derby was run yesterday... I'd say that's America's most famous horse race. There's also the Preakness and Belmont in 2 weeks and 3 weeks after that, respectively... those 2 horses round out the Triple Crown.
