How do I build a outdoor heated doghouse for two small dogs?

I just reciently bought a home and want to buy(or build) a heated doghouse for two small dogs. I want to keep them outside for a maximum of fours house at a time. I live in Connecticut and it can get very cold here so I'm not sure if that is possible. Is there any websites out there that can help?

1. You can build a dog house, or buy one and put a heating pad in it with blankets.
2. The better option would be to get a nice big wire kennel for them to stay in the house while you're not at home. Or an x-pen. Those will keep your house safe, and your dogs indoors from the heat/cold/predators(people and animal)
