If you were going to buy a small fluffy dog what breed or cross breed would you recommend?
Just at the stage of considering whether to get a small fluffy dog. What breeds are cute, robust, intelligent, easily trained and get on okay with other dogs and animals. Or the closest you know of to the superdog that I have described :-)

- toy poodle all the way
- I have a yorkie they are so well behaved its crazy!
- OMG get A COCKAPOO!!! cutest dog EVER, extremely intelligent, doenst shed
- pomeranians are very cute and very very fluffy...I wouldn't go with fluffy if your wanting to groom the dog all the time and deal with lots of hair all over the place...But if I were to pick a super small dog it would be the yorkie..be aware when people tell you tea cup yorkie because this only means it's the runt of the litter and they could possibly die on you.
- Cavalier King Charles Bischon Frise Poodle
- How about a Pomeranian?
- Anything you see at your local ASPA/animal rescue league. If you rescue a dog they will think your the superhero and love you forever!
- "BUY" a MUTT???? NEVER!
- a pomeranian
- Hmm. Well, I consider terriers to be cute, robust, and intelligent. However, they are not always easy to train (some certainly can be) and don't always get along well with other animals (though, again, some certainly do). Depending on how small is "small" - Beagles hit the mark, I think, on all but "fluffy" and "easily trained" (competing with their sense of smell can be tricky). Ditto for Pugs (they're having too much fun to bother being trained). Your local shelter will probably have a variety of small dogs available and can give you the specifics of each individual regarding its behavior with other animals and its trainability. I guess cuteness is in the eye of the beholder, so that will be for you to judge!
- I recommend not buying a cross bred dog. I recommend doing your research to find a breed that's right for you. I suggest adopting from a rescue or shelter.
- An African Grey. They come in all sizes and colours and are easy to manage, once you have got them to stop going for your throat.
- schnoodle
- I recommend doing some research online :) And that you go to an animal shelter and keep an eye out for the breed you have chosen.
- I recommend the one sitting at theshelter or in rescue waiting for you...
- Visiting a lovely dog home can be a good choice when it comes to picking a dog. I recently found out that around 22 million animals are abandoned each year because their owner can no longer look after them. Most of these animals are dogs. At a dog home, they have several kinds of dogs, some are crossbred, some are purebread. They are also different ages. You will have to pay around £50 for a dog but they have been insured, neutered/spayed and you are sent care packs and letters from the pet home. So when you are looking for a dog, a rescued one can sometimes be the best one of all.
- um i wouldn't BUY a cross breed unless its from the shelter. If i was going to buy a fluffy lil dog (which i would never do because i dont like them) but it would probably be a Toy Poodle.
- I won't ever be buying a small fluffy dog. They are lap dogs & they are little yappers. No I don't think I will ever be buying a small fluffy dog.
- I have a morkie (yorkie/maltese), shes def small and def fluffy. She is very sweet, adorable and very smart. She gets along great with my lab and is a great watchdog but doesn't bark all the time. Shes very spunky but when you pick her up she cuddles in your arms. They come in a range of colors from the yorkie black/tan, to white or beige, even grey. I would recommend a morkie to any small dog lover.
- papillon toy poodle pomerian
