how many people help wild horses of NC?

Ok for my home school science fair project Im doing "Wild Horses of North Carolina" I was seeing how many people help every year to the round up... I also need any information about the horses.. if possible .. what I have found out so far is that they sell the horses for other needs and to keep the population down... If you answer Thank you for helping me out! ok I know I just found out that there are over 55 ppl helping thwm on the round up.. and there are lots of ppl who donate to keep them alive

1. At this point the answer is basically no one wants them, or for that matter any other wild horse. The ending of the slaughtering of horses in the US has made them a waste product which basically you have to pay to dispose of. Marv
