How many types of dogs [breeds] are there, including mixed breeds?

1. www.akc.org will tell you exactly and what they are and where they originated from.
2. Well in AKC there are 200 breeds acknowledged, but as far as mixed breeds There are an unknown amount because you can mix anything with anything! So who the heck knows!!!!

4. www.akc.org will tell you how many breeds there are (approximately 155), and mixed breeds are by definition not breeds at all they are a mix of two or more pure breeds & therefore can not have a "standard" for appearance, temperment , etc by which they can be judged.
