why don't wild animals eat animals that have been killed by lightning?

My son showed me a trivia thing he got and it said that wild animals will not eat dead animals that have been killed by lightning. If this is true why?

1. probably because the heat from the electricity cooked the meat, and wild animals do not like cooked meat. make it a good day
2. it would taste like electricity and be all burnt
