what's the name of the movie about dogs "snow"?

i forgot the name of the movie but its about dogs. so there was this storm i think in the snowy area and they had leave there "team" behind which were the dogs. so the dogs were left alone in the snow and were like tied up some of them managed to escape and they started to die. one of them died cause it got buried under the snow [it was the lazy snow] the other one [im not sure if it died] but it fought with this other animal and it broke its leg. cause there was this dead whale i think and it was still a bit fresh. and the dogs needed the food so one dog fought with the animal that was currently eating the meat.
