Do Maine Coon cats make good apartment cats?

I am moving into an apartment and I want to get a Maine Coon. The apartment is a loft with kitchen/living, bedroom, laundry room, and bathroom. Will it be a problem having such a big indoor cat in an apartment?

1. No, Maine Coon cats are the best cats in the world beside a siamese. I had one he was large and loving and took up too much of the bed but he was fine indoors. Great choice for a cat. Don't forget to teach him tricks
2. Make sure you get cat furniture and supplies scaled to his size. Litter boxes, beds, cat trees, everything will have to be oversized. I don't think there will be a problem as long as you provide plenty of activities and proper accessories for him. MC's are gorgeous, sweet cats.
3. No....I think Maine Coons make a great pet in an apartment...
