Is it legal to breed to have two mixed breeds of dogs have babies?

I have a shitpoo and my friend has a puggle. They really like each other and I am hoping some day we will have shitpooggles. However I heard some people daying it was illegal and it messes up the dogs. Is any of the true?

its not illegal .. a mutt is a mutt ... and when mutts get together they make mutts! but yes it can have horrible side effects for the puppies
it is not illeagel, but no one would pay money for these puppies. think of all of the expenses you would have during the pregnancy.... and what are the chances these puppies would go to already over crowded kennels. I'm perfectly fine with people breeding... i like pure breds because it's easy to predict their disposition... but you are breeding mutts... there is no need for that.

i dont think so...it isnt illegal for people to breed outside of their race. if they like each other then let them...but research each breed of dog and find out if each breed has hereditary problems or diseases that could overwhelm the new puppies like eye, nose, tongue, leg, and stomach problems all at the same time would be mean. if it seems ok then let them.

I don't think it is illegal, you can call the national dog society or whatever, but does crossbread on there on all the time, and people do it also. So, if this is a concern, maybe you should just call a veterinarian.
It is not illegal but highly unethical and SHOULD be illegal all over the world! You should not do this and you should both get your dogs spayed/neutered, it will make them live longer and be more healthy! If ya'll really love your animals you would not do this!! What do you think the definition of a byb and a puppy mill are? DUH!
It's fine. Just make sure you have homes. Shihpoos are cute, but mixed with a puggle, some of the cuteness will flee.
Please get your dogs fixed. You clearly have no idea what you are doing. No one is going to want four way mutt dogs.

Not by human laws, but you will end up with a bunch of weird looking puppies - probably all different. Breeding two known breeds together will often produce a known thing - all the traits have been cleaned up and homogenized in either breed, so the weirdness is kept to a minimum in those puppies. However, when it comes to mixing two already mixed dogs, you start to get really odd stuff that you didn't expect - lots not good. Some bad temperaments and health problems. There are genes that you cannot see, that pop out when they have the next generation. By doing this, you will make a bunch of dogs that will most likely have some problems later on - meaning you will be giving other people bad dogs in one way or another. It doesnt matter how much these two dogs like each other - they don't need to have puppies. Get them spayed, and then they can play together all they want. If you do end up making these puppies, just remember that a lot of them will die in a shelter.

Not illegal. But not shitpoogles either, just plain mongrels that you may have trouble getting homes for. Breeding is costly can you warrant paying out for vets fees etc. not to mention the stress you will put the dog through, for puppies that may not be able to sell. You may not recoup your costs and (unless you keep them) the pups may well be cute but may just end up homeless and unwanted????
Ok people who say it's illigel are completely wrong. They just dont want you to produce a litter of mutts and contribute to the over population of dogs. Do a favor and dont breed them please. It is not good for the dogs and your only doing it on a whim. Not only that but unethical. Dont do it, its also very dangerous for small breeds to poroduce pups.
It IS illegal, your dogs can be confiscated and shot. You can get jail time and huge fines. Don't even think about trying it.....
