Do you have a good idea for displaying stuffed animals in a little girl's bedroom?
My 8 year old granddaughter has a large collection of stuffed animals, everything from tiny to very large. Her mother would like to be able to display these toys in her daughter's bedroom, using something other than the "net hammock" that is available. As she still plays with them all the time, they will have to be within her reach. Thank you in advance for any ideas you can present

- i think that a shelf can be very appealing, and it shows all the stuffed animals.
- I have a book case in my daughters room for her dolls and stuffed animals. They are within her reach and she can actually see all of them at all times. We both love it.
- install a chair rail on the wall with small pegs or hooks. Then when she outgrows the animals you can fill in the holes and there will be a nice decorative rail around the room.
- We were in the same boat. We got some stackable plastic storage bins, and now our daughter just pulls out what she wants to play with, whenever she wants to play with them. Nice thing is, they can be put back away!!!
- you can get some really nice wooden shelves maybe, not just one but a few in a book shelf type layout but with out the sides...
- i put my sons on the foot of the bed and on shelves
- A shelf is classy, sleek and appealing. You install the shelf, and let your granddaughter arrange them herself. She will enjoy doing it herself and arranging them as she wishes. You could even get a large shelf and personalize it with her name, and make it match with her room. A bookcase is another option. She can have her books, toys, AND stuffed animals organized. =] Hope that helps.
- Oh my josh I had a gigantic collection of stuffed animals too. still do... anyway, what I usually did is arange them at the end of my bed. only problem, though, was that they fell off all the time. What i wanted to do was to get a big shelf with drawers too, and put them on that. I saw a really cute one in the ABC Catalog. You should look in there. There is tons of cute things in that caltaog and they are low low prices too, for real. I was looking in there today and most of the stuff was only 5 or six dollars.(not including shipping, though, but still it's a good price!)
- Hook them along the wall. Bunch them in corners as a deco.
- Anything that allows her to "organize" the toys and encourages her to clean up is a good idea (the mom would probably agree.) Kids like to arrange their toys into groups (by color, size, etc) so it's a good idea to encourage that. see below for some examples: http://www.ababy.com/data/toy-organizers-1.html
- get a toy net,,to hang on ceiling,,,,,,,,,,,stop buying dolls
- use display cases found at Micheal's
- you could put in a corner of her bedroom a couple of those big oversize cushions and then arrange them on the cushions? and then she still can see them and they are in her reach and she has somewhere comfortable to sit at the same time. For the really good ones maybe arrange them on a shelf above the cushions still within her reach but they will look good as well. hope this helps.
- I use to put my daughters over in a corner and sit them up like they were in a little village that way she could get to them when ever she wanted to
