Does your cat insist on running around in the snow for half an hour like a three-year old on Reese's?
Wolfgang charged headlong into a snowstorm this morning and went dashing over hill and dale, pausing, well out of my reach to bat at the snowflakes. Is he nuts or do all cats do this? Sounds like some cats have more brains, since he kept charging at the door all day long.

- HA! My cat, Muggers, just did this, this morning!! He really liked it & it was his first snow!
- It might just be there instinct. I never seen my cat do this before.
- I would put mini tennis rackets on his feet to help him run around on the snow.
- Every year my cat forgets about snow. I'll open the door and she'll run outside all excited and get about 10 feet and realize it's cold and run back in. Then she stays in till spring.
- Not all cats do it, but you're cat is just having fun. It's instinctual for them to check out new situations and so he's just trying to figure out what it is and his playful side is coming out while he's attacking the flakes. Is this your cat's first run-in with snow? Lots of cats are curious about it when they first see it. My dogs even attack the snowflakes, so it really isn't all that uncommon
