How big do maltese puppies usually get when they mature?

I have a 9 week old maltese pup but i was wondering how big he will get when he grows up to be and adult. He's around 6 inches rite now. && weights 2 lbs

2. A pure bred maltese as a full grown adult should weigh between 4-6 lbs. That is breed regulations from the AKC. But yes some are bigger but no more then ten pounds.
3. They usually weigh between 4 and 7 pounds, but they can grow to about 9.

5. do a search of Maltese club of America for info on what the breed should be. Or.....ask the breeder you got it from!
6. Maltese dogs are generally around 4-8 pounds....I have a female who is 8 years old and 6 pounds. Males tend to run slightly bigger. Good luck with your puppy!
7. Generally 4-8lbs Maltese are hot :) I have a male that's 18 months and he's not too big, just right. He follows me everywhere and sleeps with me in bed :) aldorable.
