Will racing stripes make my dog go faster?

Sometimes when I take my golden retriever Max to the dog park, he can't keep up with the fastest dogs. He's fast, believe me, but I think he is sad to not be able to keep up with the best. If I shave his fur down a little and paint red or blue racing stripes on him, will he go faster? I'm interested in suggestions for design as well. What will be fastest?

  4. Joey he is talking about a DOG not a car. You shouldn't be painting your dog any color the paint can be very harmful to the skin.

  6. You can use a lasar to create a more permanent look. I'd use flames in the front and lightening bolts on the sides. Sharpen his claws and he'll run faster. Also, shave his tail and ears to minimize wind resistance.

  8. Oh yeah this will definately make him go faster. So will adding wheels to his feet, a jet pack to his back, and wings on his back.
  9. put a ZIG ZAG on his back ..the other dogs will look at it and go dizzy and he will than be the fastest..Mind can play tricks on everything
