At night for about an hour or so my dog is acting strange heart racing, not sure what to do?

I am not sure what to do for about 2 weeks now at night my dog starts pacing around the house like she is nervous, she won't sit still her heart is racing and she is a little shaky. The vet says there is nothing wrong with her but I think it is very strange. Can dogs have heart attacks? She is not fixed and is 7 years old could it be from that?

1. From what I understand, dogs cannot have heart attacks. This is the second question I've seen where a dog suddenly develops night time anxiety. Did you recently have a bad thunderstorm or some other such noise? Any other changes in your lives? Food, medicine, schedule, etc.? This sounds like anxiety, and it's up to you to find out the cause.
