How to help Indonesia's endangered animals?
In Indonesia people and government don't take much attention to the endangered animals. The Sumatran tigers are now only reach 400 in numbers, and the elephants number are just decreasing. It's breaking my heart apart. What can I do to save them? I have been a member of WWF for 2 years but I don't have enough money to contribute more. I'd rather all the animals are carried away to other countries that take more care and responsible for those pitiful living creatures.

- You can boycott Sumatra coffee Write to the embassy and the ambassador Respond to WWF calls for action Boycott Indonesian products and let the companies know why. Write the coffee companies. It does not have to be long. Just a postcard Send small donations frequently. 5 dollars a month adds up. The orangutan habitat is being encroached upon by the coffee and palm oil plantations I am with you on this issue and urge you to do what you can, when you can. I do. P.S. The site www.therainforestrescue.com or greatergoodsnetwork.com are commercial sites which make their money from tallied visits and then sell the advertising. It is free and a dailey visit results in the purchase and maintainence of rainforest ecosystem. A little bit when combined with others can become significant.
- I don't think it would make any difference if you threw all the money in the world at these people. Just keep on making your point and try and gather as much useful information together as possible. Maybe do an online petition of some sort. WWF will be able to advise you best. Good Luck!!
