Will greyhound racing still go ahead in heavy rain?

Going to swindon dog track saturday night, but forcast is heavy rain, save us driving a long way, if its pouring down will it still be on?

1. Horses do, so chances are dog races would as well unless the storm is expected to include lightning. In that case, it wouldn't surprise me if the race was postponed due to the threat to the dogs (and spectators, for that matter).
