I am looking for White German Shepherd puppies for sale?

I couldn't find any on my local classifieds. I live in San Antonio,TX but I am willing to drive out of town if you know of someone that's selling any. Or where can I look on the web to find them?

1. Don't look for ads in the classifieds. White German Shepherds are not accepted by the AKC, so avoid breeders acting like they are special or breeding for them on purpose. Go to the breed club http://www.gsdca.org/ for a good breeder referral.

It is normally easier to look on the web first, but it really is best to go and visit the breeders, make sure the dogs are friendly, check out ALL the health certificates, you can get a list of required tests by goggling it, ask what activities they do with their dogs, look at the conformation of the dogs, but make sure the parents look good, and their backs are not too sloping. Look through the contract and see if they give guarantees. I have provided some links below, it is best to find someone who is part of an association, so read all the clubs requirements (do they check out the kennels who can anyone join?), but sometimes you get some great dogs from small kennels. always check out how far back the breeding history goes in generations, after spending a few weeks reading all the websites and looking at the history, you will get a good feeling about some of the dogs and their history, so it is best to start there. 7. reading some of the answers to your questions they are wrong.. AKC does acknowledge the white german shepherds!! I have two myself and they are AKC... I found both of mine on www.puppyfind.com good luck
