When my cats lick and groom each other affectionately, does that mean they love each other ? Lol, ?
or at least like each other? Does it mean they're friends? It's quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen... Also, can they understand each other when they meow? Or is it not like humans where each word means something, but are they just sounds to them?

- allogrooming...it's sorta like affection...more like acceptance..and yes definitely they can communicate through those meows etc
- sure it does, and my cat is raising a litter right now and she grooms them non-stop. that's the love of a mother cat. siblings do it too. although strangers dont ,they just seem to mate.
- Yes, it sure does. I had a cat who would groom the dog and he let her.
- I guess. I think cat siblings do it. Sometimes my cat does it when the other smells good too. Good to the cat might not be so for us.
