  1. stablehand or groomer
  2. For 13, you probably won't find too many strangers willing to hand over the care of their horses for any long then an hour. Not that they don't trust you, but you're young and they don't know you. You're best asking people you know who may have horses. Working a little in a stable owned by a family friend would help get you recommendations, even if it doesn't get you paid.
  3. Dear, your 13, legally your not supposed to work, or get paid outside of babysitting and stuff. Depending on your state the normal age is 16 to start working legally and even then its extremely strict, you have to have a work permit, which involves a c average, you can only work a certain amount of time, and only so early or late. As for horses you can go to farms or stables and volunteer or see if they need any help. Work with the horses, don't expect money though. If you do find someone who needs your help if its an agreement you could get paid, or you could ride the horse when you please. Just depends, good luck.
  4. Unless you actually KNOW someone personally with a farm or stable, at 13, you cant get a job with horses.
  5. well, maybe you could offer to give it a bath. Make it a reasonable price- for the owner of the horse, and for the work you did. But I'm not just talkin' like, a little water shower. You could give it a deep shampoo and a nice brush that can make its mane soft and shiny. You could even offer to feed it and brush it every day! These things seem so easy, but if you do a good job, you might just get paid extra- for a simple job! If you're lookin at harder stuff, try filing its teeth (the horse's teeth) if its teeth are long and need to be flattened down. But before you do any of this, try looking at websites about horse care and stuff, even if you are a certified expert! =) A little help never hurt anyone, did it?! Finally, you could walk it around and care for it- a horse has feelings too! If it gets no attention or love, it'll feel the way you would feel- unwanted and upset. That's what makes horses have a bad temper or even feel neglected, and people can get charged for neglection- and be fined thousands of dollars if court suggests it. I hope this helps. Luv and good luck with horses, Jbfan22 =D
  6. Your best bet is to go around to some local stables and see if they will let you muck out some stalls, keep the stable tack in good repair, things like that. you probably won't get paid, and the stable manager/owner will probably not let you be with the horses alone until you have been there awhile.
  7. You can clean the stables or groom the horses. Contact some horse places.
  8. i'm 14 and i help at the stables some stables exchange help for money or free rides good luck :)
