What animals in the rainforest are in danger of extinction?
Is it true that many species of animal, including Jaguar, some sloths, some cayman, many monkeys, birds, and innumerable insects (which sadly merit little of our concern) are endangered.

- All the animals in the rainforest are under threat.
- Yes. Some will be extinct before we even discover them. Anything that lives in the rainforest is under threat because the forest is being cut down to make way for things like farming and cities.

- All of the animals and of course eventually all of the human race. We are already losing the bees which play a large part in the pattern of life. The polar bears, the elephants, the white tiger lots of animals not at least the birds are being poisoned by insecticide and no trees and field to nest. Man is a worse offender than nature in my opinion plonking pollutions in the sea and the rivers killing our fish and making them all female with the birth pill.
