What jobs are there to do with Sled Dogs?

I want to go to somewhere snowy and work with sled dogs. I know there is a Sled Dog Handler and a Musher, but i would prefer not to actually race them. I would love to ride with them, but not as a racer. And information Thanks

1. I've seen cops on sleighs with dogs pulling them in extreme snowy weathers
2. join a dog club.. one that does pulling etc.
3. i have seen cross country skiing where the dogs pull the skier.
4. you could be a husky care-taker then you would run them to make sure they were doing ok and you could also be a trainer
5. no danger of mechanical breakdown with this form of transportation. it might be rewarding to train them for rescue work.
