How Do I Pastel Customize A Breyer Horse?

hey people of earth, mars, and the moon. i really need help. you see i want to pastel breyer horses but i don't really know all the details. I know how to pastel but i don't know how to do the layers. you know how each layer is a different color? well I want to learn those colors. if anyone could help me with the colors black, chestnut, bay, dark bay, palomino/buckskin, dappled grey, and alabaster grey. if anyone could help me that would be great. thanks!
