How funny is the little shimmy that cats do before they pounce?

4. it's rather cute! my youngest cat usually makes this really cute humming sound before he pounces. Its like: "hmmmmm!" *pounce*
5. They do this as a balance check to make sure their weight is evenly distributed before they pounce. You're right, it does look cute though.
