Christians? How did animals adapt so quickly to different environments after the Great Flood?

After the flood all the animals got off the ark in one place and spread out across the ocean (somehow). Then how did different animals adapt to different climates? Or did they all just pick the proper climate?

  1. The climates changed slowly over the years.Read Genesis.
  2. God must have been in control sparky.
  3. any answer given would be speculation since, if god existed, he can do anything.
  4. they all were given detailed manuals
  5. They picked the proper environment.
  6. Intelligent adaptation
  7. I love your question. Of course, an answer doesn't exist, but I really wanna see how some people will respond.
  8. Sort of like the other question, but here goes...
  9. You will get many suggests or explanations "of a biblical perspective" from creationists. But just watch how they never offer a shred of evidence to support their claims.
  10. What do you mean, the animals spread out across the ocean? Dry land was all in one contiguous segment then! The flood is chronicled in Genesis 7. Several generations later, God divided the land into different continents (see Genesis 10:25). The name of one of Shem's descendants was "Peleg." In Hebrew/Aramaic, "peleg" means "divided" and was so named because at some point in his life, God divided the land areas. Even so, and omnipotent God can easily cause survival of whomever or whatever He wishes. If you acknowledge that animals were indeed saved on the ark, then you acknowledge that God the Almighty Creator exists.
  11. Noah's deluge was a local flood, not global. Some consider the plateau of Pamir to be the original Eden. This probably was the homeland of Adam's descendants up until the time of the Flood. Today it’s known as the Tarim Basin or Eastern Turkestan. This region is surrounded by a ridge of very high mountains forming a gigantic basin in the midst of them. It measures 1,000 miles long and is about 350 miles wide. Ussher’s Chronology says 2348 B.C., Davidson says November 2345 B.C. to November 2344 B.C. for Noah’s deluge. Records of the Sumerians in Mesopotamia., their King Lists date to about 3350 B.C., and show an ongoing civilization well through the period of the flood. Egypt felt nothing of the deluge, they had an uninterrupted succession of Dynasties. China's civilization during the Yao Dynasty (between 2400 B.C. – 2200 B.C.) with no record of a cataclysmic interruption.
