Are there all black Maine Coon cats? ?

My vet sayd he thinks my cat is a maine coon. I saw a thing on Animal Planet about maine Coons and there wasnt a single Maine Coon. He's a big cat. Fairly long hair thats very dense but soft and fluffy. he had big puff's of fur on his cheeks. 3. Yes. MC's come in lots of different colors. Check out this page from a Maine Coon cattery that's just right up the street form me. Scroll down and look at Black Idol. He's absolutely stunning (as are all their cats). http://www.congocoon.com/studcats.html It's very possible your guy has some MC bloodlines. To be considered purebred he'd have to have a pedigree to prove it. He sounds gorgeous though. My cat Willie is 1 1/2 and weighs nearly 17 pounds now.
