I have small dogs and wanted a Bigger one would they get along?

I have three small dogs and was thinking of getting a bigger dog like a german shepherd, but i dont know whether theyd get along or not. If i socialized them while the dog was a puppy would they get used to eachother? Would they fight as he got bigger??

1. I know of two sheltie moms that had german shepherds rip their shelties apart, and they owned the GS.
2. I have a Pomeranian and a German shepherd Rottweiler mix and they get along great. The German shepherd rottweiler mix was bout 2 or 3 when we got the Pom who was 2 or 3 also. I think they would get along fine. German shepherds are really smart dogs so i bet u could train it so they wouldnt fight.
