- Shirk, brings Al Jinn Anything Allah SWT made in creation that we try to recreate in replica is haram. It has brought many evils in the house and there is nothing you can do about it when they are in. Allah will place the Jinn in your home and never bring the angels around. The Greeks have the most shirk that is broken over there, as long as you break an arm or leg or something on that statue, or change the picture of the animal to cartoon or stuffed animal that is cartoon looking then fine. All the rest are Idols and will bring you shirk even if you don't worship them. Salam Why do you think all those statues even the Sphinx is broken? Allah did that. There is no Islamic ruling, it just brings you Al Jinn. That is why Abrahim A.s. dad wanted to kill him! He broke his idols. Salam edit: No it doesn't, I said stuffed animals are ok as long as they look cartoonish and not like the real creation... For instance if it has wrong number of wiskers its not a cat,, if it has non characteristics of the living thing then its not shirk. Children are protected by Allah SWT till 16 years of age so what they do is forgiven and put on thier parents as a sin. Same exact thing I said but without scripture. Ouzibillahi Mina shytan Al Rajeem Bismillahi Al Rahman Al Raheem `Â’ishah relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be those who aspire to create like Allah.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (5954) and Sahîh Muslim (2107)] Ibn ``Abbâs relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every image maker is in the Fire. For each image he made, a being will be fashioned to torment him in Hell.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (2225) and Sahîh Muslim (2110) – The wording accords with al-Bukhârî] SAME EXACT THING I SAID!!!!!! SAME!
- According to Quran it has totally fine. But some extremist hadiths say that painting and animation is "haram" because you are trying to "re-create Gods creation". I think you the answer and you are logical enough to think for yourself.
- Today there are a number of Islamic illustrated books and animated cartoons on the market for children. Due to the prohibition of image making in Islamic Law, people have differing opinions about how to approach these media. Animated cartoons are, when referred to the corpus of Islamic Law, a recent development. Therefore, we do not find it being addressed in the classical Islamic legal literature, though we occasionally find what could give us an indication of its ruling. Before exploring the Islamic ruling for animated cartoons, we must first discuss the ruling for drawing pictures. With respect to depicting human and animal life, scholars of Islamic Law present a spectrum of opinion, running the gamut from those who view all image-making to be lawful to those who categorically prohibit all drawings of animal life. The First Opinion: Some scholars hold the view that image making is essentially lawful. It is permissible to make two-dimensional illustrations as well as three-dimensional statues. The scholars who hold this view argue that the texts that prohibit image making are to be understood in the context of the state the people were in at the advent of Islam. The people had just emerged from the times of ignorance and from idolatry. After people became distanced from the worship of images, the prohibition was no longer necessary. This is why we see in some history books that when the Muslims opened up the lands of the Persians and Romans, they did not interfere with the pictures and statues found there. The Second Opinion: Some scholars hold the view that all images are unlawful, make two-dimensional illustrations as well as three-dimensional statues. They base their argument on the apparent meaning of a number of texts. These include the following: `Â’ishah relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be those who aspire to create like Allah.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (5954) and Sahîh Muslim (2107)] Ibn ``Abbâs relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every image maker is in the Fire. For each image he made, a being will be fashioned to torment him in Hell.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (2225) and Sahîh Muslim (2110) – The wording accords with al-Bukhârî] Abû Talhah relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The angels do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or images representing (people or animals).” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (3225) and Sahîh Muslim (2106)] for more plz see this site

- As Muslims we are not allowed to put picture of animals in homes!! when there are pictures of animals the angles do enter to that house it is mention in this hadith -Bukhari 4:47, Narrated 'Aisha(ra): I stuffed for the Prophet a pillow decorated with pictures (of animals) which looked like a Namruqa (i.e. a small cushion). He came and stood among the people with excitement apparent on his face. I said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is wrong?" He said, "What is this pillow?" I said, "I have prepared this pillow for you, so that you may recline on it." He said, "Don't you know that angels do not enter a house wherein there are pictures; and whoever makes a picture will be punished on the Day of Resurrection and will be asked to give life to (what he has created)?" !! that's what as muslims we should follow: Take down all the pictures of leaders from walls!! Remove all pictures of animals and people from your walls, destroy any idol statues!! If you have a job where your boss insists that you decorate, such as is often required for teachers, decorate with ribbons, colored cotton, and other creative decorations, but do not succumb to hanging up images, Take down that calendar with pictures of 'cute, cuddly' animals on it. Allow your child to play with dolls if you so desire. Keep in mind that the dolls during the Prophet's time were simple "rag" or "sock" dolls without animated human features or intricate 'life-like' detail. Do not hang up your child's pictures of animals, people, or anything worshipable, and don't let the schools do it with your children, either. Limit drawing to educational purposes. Do not mix images and religion. Allah, subhana watala, sees all the intentions.!! To the Saudihot girl, she says it is fine according qur'an, it is not fine according to qur'an, Ibrahim (as) broke all the images, sculptures and idols own by his dad, qur'an clearly states in Al-Anbiyâ 21:51-54=>51. And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrâhim (Abraham) his (portion of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him (as to his Belief in the Oneness of Allâh, etc.).52. When he said to his father and his people: "What are these images, to which you are devoted?"53. They said:"We found our fathers worshipping them."54. He said: "Indeed you and your fathers have been in manifest error." it is not allowed according to Qur'an either!!
- Allah said:'' It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise'' 3:06 According to the above verse, TASWEER means forming , shaping and creation, which is prohibited, but that ruling is not applicable on photography because there is no forming, creation or shaping in photography, however it is applicable on painting or shaping bodies with Clay, Cement or Sand and so forth. there is no question with regard to the permissibility of taking photographs, for according to that position, painting pictures of human or animal life on a paper or fabric is allowed, hence camera pictures would hold the same ruling. However, in view of the mainstream and majority position of classical scholars, the question arises as to whether photos of humans and animals fall under the type of picture-making prohibited by the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) in numerous Hadeeths. Camera photos were not in existence when classical scholars were discussing the issue of picture-making, hence one will not find an express ruling regarding photography in their works. As such, it was left to contemporary scholars to determine whether photos held the same ruling as that of painting and drawing pictures !!
